I am an Australian artist, living at Mapleton, on the beautiful Blackall Range in Queensland's Sunshine Coast hinterland. I work from my studio under the house with a view to the Pacific to the east and the Mapleton National Park to the west.
Many mediums, including oil and acrylic painting, printmaking, cyanotype and photography are incorporated in my work. I find it fun to experiment, to mix media, to look at things differently. Sometimes it is also fun to just capture an image or draw what I see.
My work is mainly inspired by the natural environment, and often the sea as I circumnavigated the world some time back in the yacht Burramys. An interest in garment construction occasionally creeps into my work and references my dressmaker mother.
